The region of Venice offers many of the best and most celebrated wines in Italy. If your are staying in Venice for only a few days and do not have time to visit the vineyards directly, this wine tasting experience offers you the wonderful opportunity to sample some of the most important wines produced in the Veneto region. The wine tasting session is held in a wine bar conveniently close to Piazzale Roma renowned for its extensive wine selection and local food. You will sample 4 of the most famous Veneto wines together with different types of the Venetian finger food called “cicheti”.

The wine selection includes: Prosecco bio (organic sparkling white wine, refreshingly light and bubbly with gold highlights), Ribolla Gialla, a straw-yellow full-bodied white wine with delicate fruity notes, Refosco, a robust yet polished and supple red wine, Valpolicella Ripasso a warm and harmonious red wine with a toasty and elegant finish. This is also a wonderful opportunity to meet up with other people and get to know the locals.
